In the unprecedented ‘western’ crackdown on Covid-19 dissent, doctors were/are being threatened for being true to their Hippocratic oath to first do no harm; for using their own clinical knowledge and judgement; for treating Covid-19 patients early, especially with hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and later ivermectin; for commenting honestly on medical evidence; for saving patients’ lives. Even this last statement is not controversial – because remarkably little official interest has been shown in doctors’ actual treatment successes (other than in suppressing them). This renders official claims to be clamping down on doctors for reasons of public health disingenuous.
To enable them to treat patients with Covid-19, and to protect themselves against the crackdown on open Covid-19 debate, these doctors resistance groups have formed in most western countries. These are described below.
Also worth noting is the range of excuses or ruses used by Western governments and medical authorities for discouraging or outlawing the use of HCQ, a safe drug with overwhelming evidence of efficacy when used early.
Drs Resistance Groups
The UK Medical Freedom Alliance was formed to campaign for doctors to be allowed to prescribe approved medicines, and latterly for informed consent and bodily autonomy to be protected. It’s website has a range of useful resources on early Covid-19 treatment and vaccination; its open letters are a valuable information and support resource.
The International Alliance of Physicians and Medical Scientists (IAPMS) is a group with thousands of members and supporters. (Latest)
Its Rome Declaration obtained 17,000 signatories and protested that thousands of doctors were being prevented from treating patients with effective treatments (including with Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine), that hundreds of thousands of unnecessary patient deaths were due to failure-to-treat. It railed against all censorship, threats and retribution against doctors.
The IAPMS second declaration stressed that early intervention was safe and effective and has saved hundreds of thousands of lives, stated that no approved medicine should be restricted from off-label use, and that health agencies shall be prohibited from interfering with physicians. It railed against compulsorily vaccinating children and recovered Covid-19 cases with natural immunity
Its January 23 March on Washington to protest overreaching vaccine mandates attracted a crowd of 50,000, which was addressed by an exalted body of distinguished doctors and other prominent figures, including <Dr Robert Malone>, one of the group’s leaders.
Dr Malone has received death threats and was even branded a terrorist by the Italian media. The event video is here.
Their latest declaration is Declaration IV – Restore Scientific Integrity.
Docs4OpenDebate is a group of 751 medical doctors, 2831 medically trained health professionals in Belgium. On 5/9/20, an open letter to all Belgian authorities and all Belgian media, signed by 751 medical doctors, 2831 medically trained health professionals and 21755 citizens, asked for an open debate and an end to censorship. It cited hydroxychloroquine (with zinc and azithromycin) as an affordable, safe and efficient therapy and complained that new anti-HCQ guidelines introduced after the (fake) Lancet study remained in place after that study was quickly withdrawn.
“Hardly anyone has to die now“, it added.
It also rejected the intention of censorship (under the guise of ‘Fighting Disinformation’) of dissidents in the European Union.
This EU initiative clearly announces a policy of censorship; promotion of authoritative sources, support for ‘fact checkers’ etc.
In the USA, AAPS (the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons), is a longstanding professional physicians association of about 5000 members, that has advocated (and fought the corner) for early Covid-19 treatment with hydroxychloroquinefrom the beginning, as this search for HCQ – returning 144 articles – shows:
They have brought lawsuits on HCQ, and oppose physician censorship – even since before Covid-19, and warned about visible Covid censorship as early as Feb 2020 – bringing a lawuit against Sen Adam Schiff. who in 2019 was pressing Facebook, Twitter, and Google to censor so-called ‘anti-vaccination’ information.

America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) has been at the forefront of efforts to counter the oppression against US physicians (and indeed patients) that accompanied the Covid-19 narrative. Founder Dr SImone Gold has borne the brunt.
Their viral “White Coat Summit” press conference challenged the claims that Covid-19 could not be treated early, especially with hydroxychloroquine. It had had 18 million views before Google, YouTube and Facebook deleted it. As the link notes, for appearing at the summit Dr Gold was fired from her position after 20 years as an emergency room physician.
AFLDS White Paper on HCQ has set the record straight on a number of issues.
They have brought, or been prominent in bringing, several legal challenges; vaccine mortality data, Kaiser’s vaccine mandate, suing FDA for documents.
Since their foundation on 16/7/20, AFLDS have been providing patients with early treatment for Covid-19, first with HCQ and then with ivermectin. They have supported Drs autonomy and their right to speak as doctors without intimidation and sanction.
For this they have endured incessant attacks and hit pieces in the media and smears from the medical establishment. They have been censored by the main social media outlets, and their founder Dr Gold, apart from being fired has been harassed and intimidated by the FBI, and even jailed.
25/2/21 FBI broke down my door in SWAT team Raid of 20 Men. Dr Gold waived what seemd to be her ‘real’ political defense and settled for a misdemeanor charge. In June Dr Gold was sentenced to 60 days for tresspass in connection with the Jan 6 breach of the Capitol after she gave a speech about Covid-19; She was placed in solitary confinement for 8 days due to refusing Covid-19 vaccinations.
The anti-suppression group Physicians For Freedom comments: “Tragically, our sacred losses do not end with lives and livelihoods. We have lost freedom and science. We now see every day in America things unthinkable a generation ago. Government, businesses and media censoring free speech. Physicians fired, blocked on social media, and banned from professional societies for practicing medicine and informing patients in good faith. Our most trusted medical journals blocking research and publishing phony studies to advance their interests. Government and businesses mandating a vaccine against the will and best interests of patients in counsel with their doctors.
This lying, censorship, and coercion fits a pattern called “tyranny”, which is bad enough in itself. But consider what it does to the sacred heart of medicine, the patient-physician relationship.”
North Carolina Physicians for Freedom continues to treat patients with FLCCC protocols including HCQ. One unnamed physician writes: “I treated over 100 patients with the FLCCC early treatment protocols, some of which were very high-risk for COVID-19 complications. Only one person needed hospital care for supplemental oxygen (now back at work). I hear similar findings from other colleagues that are treating patients with Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine.”
In a wide-ranging and damning statement, the NCPFF accuses authorities and medical groups of harming patients by discouraging or preventing/sabotaging early and preventative treatment and pushing vaccinations on patients who have little or no risk from Covid-19, including children. They refer to the Rome Declaration (see above) and possible crimes against humanity.
Alaska Doctors attack Alaska Doctors!
On 30 October 2021 a medical group called the Alaska Covid Alliance held an ‘Early Treatment Medical Summit’ in Anchorage, Alaska. The event was well attended – by 1,200 people, mostly health care professionals. As the title indicates, all the well-credentialled, mostly medical speakers believed in early treatment for Covid-19, from the evidence and from their own personal experience and contacts.
However, the doctors were subject to concerted professional and public attacks after an Alaskan psychiatrist wrote to the national and state medical boards calling for the doctors to be investigated.
This letter did not refer to any of the evidence for early treatment. Nevertheless, 100 doctors are claimed (the letter seems unavailable) to have added their signature to the letter condemning their colleagues for expressing a different scientific viewpoint, and treating patients according to their view of the evidence. Citing official pronouncements, the dissenting medical viewpoint was simply labelled“misinformation” and “a threat to public health”.
The public, however, did not feel threatened – and 600+ comments indicated that they strongly supported the ‘early treatment’ doctors. In addition the Drs had strong political support from 9 senators and the mayor of Anchorage, to whom they had shown the evidence.
In view of this public outcry the FSMB indicated that it would take no action. It has continued to crack down on individual doctors daring to voice their own medical judgement.
The media reports of these events in Alaska would reward study, as examples of how misleading propaganda is delivered through framing, ‘shooting the messenger’, reporting official claims as fact, and how mainstream reporting can consist of little more than smearing.

Canadian Physicians for Science and Truth is a large group of doctors that was formed in reply to Ontario’s physician licensing body, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), issuing a public statement on 30/4/21 “forbidding physicians from questioning or debating any or all of the official measures imposed in response to COVID-19. 1“, including supporting “unproven treatments“, and which “threatened physicians with punishment – investigations and disciplinary action.”.
Or in other words, “Shut up or lose your license“. Note that HCQ is the least “unsupported” early Covid-19 treatment.
The physicians’ response, which came within a week, stated that their primary duty of care is not to the CPSO, but their patients. They said the CPSO statement “orders us to violate our duty and pledge to our patients in the following ways:
Denial of the Scientific Method.
Violation of our Pledge to use Evidence-Based Medicine .
Violation of Duty of Informed Consent.”
They demanded the statement be rescinded, and stated that the stifling of scientific inquiry and the order to violate their consciences may constitute a crime against humanity.

According to retired lawyer Karen Selick the CPSO statement violates the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and so will at some point come before the courts.

Of Canada’s other provinces, British Columbia has aggressively suppressed dissent among physicians.
11/5/21 B.C. doctors warned they could face discipline for spreading COVID-19 misinformation
B.C. doctors warned by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) they could face “professional discipline” for “spreading COVID-19 misinformation” including “promoting treatments for COVID-19 that are not supported by scientific research.”
This kind of misinformation is a violation of public trust as well as the ethical obligations of doctors, whom members of the public tend to trust implicitly when it comes to matters of health, the statement says.
“Those who put the public at risk with misinformation may face an investigation by the college and, if warranted, regulatory action.”

In both cases, information at odds with policy is automatically classed as “misinformation” and “unethical” and “a violation of public trust”.
The same abstract nouns are used as propaganda to justify threatening, silencing or removing doctors who express concerns about evidence. But the alleged misinformation is not specified. )
The Canadian Covid Care Alliance was formed April 2021, an alliance of “over 500 independent Canadian doctors, scientists, and health care practitioners”.
On 25/9/21 the Alliance issued a declaration, with major demands such as:
The replacement of (late) hospital treatment by (early) outpatient treatment for C19,
A pause in the vaccination program,
The end of lockdowns, and the end of the Declaration of Emergency in Canada and
Stop coercive medical restrictions on patients and doctors, and stop censoring physicians.
Many doctors who joined these groups in such declarations, treated patients early, or otherwise resisted the coercion have been targeted by their professional regulating bodies. As there is no law against doctors treating/curing patients, and expressing their host clinical viewpoints, existing bureaucratic rules were severely bent to create apparent breaches. Thus, doctors treating Covid-19 patients are accused of abstract crimes like endangering patients (the irony), unprofessional conduct and breaches of medical ethics – accusations normally reserved for tangible sins such as fraud, inappropriate sexual behaviour and drug dependence.
Bent bureaucracy?
Dr Ira Bernstein, a CCCA cofounder, is under CPSO investigation for “COVID-19 misconduct, including the promotion of unproven treatments like ivermectin and the issuance of inappropriate exemptions…”. In an interim judgement he has been forbidden to prescribe hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.
To even threaten a particular doctor from prescribing an approved, safe drug for a particular disease has never happened; let alone two such drugs. Further Dr Bernstein is also prohibited from issuing vaccine exemptions: They’ve officially forbidden the practice of medicine in Ontario, Canada.
Dr Patrick Phillips is another of several Ontario physician who is restricted from prescribing ivermectin, as well as from giving out vaccine exemptions.
By January 2022 the CPSO had suspended 8 Drs for “COVID-19 misconduct” – aka promoting ivermectin and issuing inappropriate vaccine exemptions, and was investigating more than 40.
Another Ontario physician who has consistently spoken out on hydroxychloroquine and who has been disciplined is <Dr Kulvinder Gill>, who happens also to be the founder of Concerned Ontario Doctors.
Typically, the CPSO does not define the terms of its accusations, it seems to be the fact that early treatment works that it considers dangerous.
The Netherlands
The laid-back reputation of the Netherlands has taken a knock during Covid-19, as the Dutch College of General Practitioners have enforced a bureaucratic Covid-19 orthodoxy with unprecedented zeal, cracking down on doctors prescribing early covid treatment.
In response to the threats, the group Zelfzorg covid19 (“Selfcare covid19”) was launched by Dr Rob Elens in May 2020 to allow doctors to prescribe early treatment and prophylaxis for Covid-19 (Currently 166 medics have signed up).
This met “immense push back” by the authorities, who threatened to withdraw his licence – he had to stop prescribing HCQ. The group has since moved over to ivermectin and vitamins but the Dutch authorities have continued to harass the early-treatment doctors, fining them and forcing them to remove documents from their website. In March 2021 a fine was announced for using HCQ or IVM. Revealed to be up to 150,000 Euros. An authoritarian dictat was issued, calling pharmacists to report doctors and other pharmacists.
The public are also asked to report doctors anonymously for ‘Disinformation’ which includes “dispute generally accepted scientific information about corona”. But it also says “Also in their statements to patients and on social media. Their information must be factual, verifiable and understandable.”
So what happens when the ‘generally accepted’ information is not factual? The ones telling the factual information are fined – not those promoting the non-factual policy.
In December 2021 (and through 2022) the Dutch medical inspectorate (the IGJ) was continuing to investigate and threaten doctors for treating Covid-19 patients. The Inspectors even raided a pharmacists for their off-label prescriptions of ivermectin for covid – which they then used to chase down the doctors, who were causing great offence…by treating covid patients early.
Zelforg reports (translated text):
“Research by the pharmacists shows that there have been no deaths in the home situation.
Furthermore, from the more than 500 evaluations in the period (June 2021 – March 2022), 82.9% of the care recipients indicate that they will quickly recover completely – on average within six days – after the start of the treatment. Only 5% indicate that they still experience residual complaints after 4 weeks and 1/3 of them needed LongCovid treatment. In addition, a small proportion of 11.3% of patients report a mild side effect profile, which also appears to be transient.
Despite the threat of fines, the doctors of the NTG continue with their services…”
Zelforg adds (emphasis added) “But what is really appalling is that the IGJ doesn’t ask any questions about how the people requesting help are doing“.
Even though public health is supposed to be the issue.
Meanwhile, the Zelfzorg group has challenged the legality of the authorities’ fining them.
In Australia, The Covid Medical Network is a group of Australian doctors who have publicly criticized Australia’s official Covid-19 policy and strongly argued for early treatment with hydroxychloroquine. Hundreds of doctors signed its open letter in November 2020, criticising Melbourne’s second lockdown. This brought it into conflict with the Therapeutic Goods Association (TGA) which in March 2020 banned Australian doctors from prescribing the drug to combat COVID-19.
In Queensland CHO Dr Jeanette Young issued an order threatening doctors and pharmacists with a fine or jail for prescribing HCQ for Covid-19. The order was revoked in March 2022. The revocation order displaced the original order, making it hard to check the reason given. An achived copy is on the website https://empowertotalhealth.com.au. No reason was specified in the order, but in the abovementioned web article The strange tale of hydroxychloroquine Robyn Chuter notes that the Qld Health Dept spokesman later attributed the order to “shortages” (even though refused further HCQ donations from Queensland businessman Clive Palmer, who had donated 22m doses to the national stockpile) and claimed HCQ was still “not approved” for Covid-19 treatment. As Chuter notes, these excuses were reported uncritically in the media, when they were reported at all.
At the start of the vaccine rollout the TGA, hardly coincidentally, issued a “formal cease and desist” letter, claiming that the CMN’s website information on HCQ was a form of advertising, and started an ‘investigation’ of the group (ABC News). The TGA had also claimed HCQ use would cause shortages (despite Clive Palmer’s massive donations) as well as trotting out the usual trumped-up ‘safety’ concerns.
The TGA’s ‘investigation’ announcement appears to have been a response to the CMN’s recent open letter which presented a strong evidence-based challenge to the TGA’s reasons for banning HCQ.
Looking at the above ABC report (which did not question the ‘advertising’ excuse), one might (naively) wonder why the TGA did not issue any instructions to ABC news regarding advertising the vaccine:

The linked story shows several thumbs-up, smiling or beaming vaccine recipients.
With a national campaign to stimulate the public with emotional and subliminal messages like “You too can be excited!” and “I was elated”, it’s difficult not to see the TGA’s excuse for censuring the CMN doctors as a ruse – especially given the timing of the vaccine rollout; doctors publicly highlighting the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine would be questioning the need for a vaccine, which could jeapordize both its provisional approval and the massively promoted notion that a vaccine was needed to get back to normal.
The TGA claimed: “No part of the process has been rushed, and there was no emergency authorisation granted. The TGA does not have an “Emergency Use Authorisation” pathway for COVID-19 vaccines.”
However elsewhere, the TGA says “The TGA has granted a number of provisional determinations in relation to COVID-19 vaccines, including the Pfizer vaccine.
In addition to this emergency use determination, the TGA is actively monitoring COVID-19 vaccine development that is…”
The TGA’s explanations are obviously contradictory, but it is self evident that successful early treatments were regarded as intolerable competition for the Covid-19 vaccines it was forcing on the public in Australia.
